Accessibility

Accessibility
statement.

Center for Pain is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

Our commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continually review and improve the site.

What we've built in

  • Semantic HTML landmarks, a "skip to content" link, and a logical heading order on every page.
  • Full keyboard operability with clearly visible focus indicators.
  • Color contrast meeting WCAG AA for text and interface elements.
  • Form fields with associated labels, clear error messages, and screen-reader announcements.
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" system setting, and a pause control for the homepage video.
  • Descriptive labels for buttons, navigation, and the appointment assistant.
  • Responsive layouts that work with zoom and on any screen size.

Ongoing review

We test with automated tools and keyboard/screen-reader checks, and we welcome a third-party audit as the site grows. If any part of the site is hard to use, we want to fix it.
